We have been making it our mission to really pinpoint the time and places of Soaring Firebird spawns. We were a real epic event when they first spawned on us so here it goes. We were on the 112 quest to kill Xiao Mugnai, and if you do not already know he must have 2, 3, 4,500k health and you can only hit for 185 elemental dig each tack with all 112 unit gear.
So we were on that guy for good 20 to 30 mines with some help from other players twelve sky2 Gold and we had not died at all. We read in many forums you needed 6 to7k health for these boss so we had our vet up n had 7200 hp and did not die once and all of a sudden 5 of those firebirds spawned right as we had the quest boss down to about 10 and we freaked loll we ran away, one followed us, we tanked that bird down for a few mats.
They definitely put those spawns together for a reason it woke me up. Since then us have tried to time them out as a 3 hour refresh rate to make bank but failed for the most part. We can always count on them showing up on us not getting any kills when we Die4 Honor running around though anyway.
We think they spawn in areas of the map that have those dark brown patches not shadows on the ground, marked those and try to make team mates to cover them all as spawn times arrive cusp this, the good players make good gear level fast spawn camping and post all the info on them but we guess that b less for melee.
